A website that showcases Parsons CD students’ favorite libre typefaces, with eye-catching interactions, helpful type filters, and a glyph grid that shows off each character. For this project, I created a platform that acts as a resource for the Parsons CD community. The focus was to create a filterable collection of libre typefaces that can help designers find a specifc typeface for their work.
I aimed to interact with my community along every step, starting with reaching out to my peers to collect data about their favorite typefaces. Using a combination of HTML, CSS, and Javascript, I compiled the information about each typeface and organized the website with a filtering feature, an interactive glyph grid, and an “add your own” page, hoping to expand the site further with
user input.
